The Golden Lion Inn is a Traditional 17th century coaching inn situated on the High Street in Bridgnorth, near to the Northgate. The river Severn and the Severn Valley Railway are both a short walk away, as are the remains of Bridgnorth castle, the Bridgnorth funicular railway and some superb views over the river Severn from the old town walls.
The Golden Lion is renowned locally for its fine range of ales and superb home cooked food but also provides the only bed and breakfast accommodation on Bridgnorths historic High Street. There is a large car park at the rear with the car park entrance facing the famous old St Leonards church.
