Lynmoore Guest House in Blackpool
12 April 2012 by Geoff
I discovered Lynmoore Guest House in the Spring of 2009. Having been a regular visitor to the resort for many years, and now semi-retired, I wanted somewhere that felt like home to spend a few days each month.
The Guest House is immaculate throughout, beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Mark and Lyn are cordial hosts and quickly become friends with their visitors nothing is too much trouble and they are always available with help and advice. Their full English breakfast is awesome!
The ensuite bedrooms have every available facility, tea, coffee and biscuit, iron & ironing board, hairdryer the bathroom cabinet has those little items you sometimes forget to pack, cotton wool, cotton buds and plasters etc.
I last stayed there over Easter this year, from Good Friday to Tuesday 10th April, the relaxed environment made for a very comfortable stay.

We visited the Lynmoore on an extremely snowy weekend in December. We were tired after a long journey and were delighted to receive a warm welcome in more ways than one - warm, friendly people and nice warm room much needed . There was all we needed in our room and bathroom plus lots of storage space / power points and free Wireless! The breakfast was full English in the best tradition - as much as we could possibly eat. The Lynmoore is also very well situated, near the Promenade with lots of eating places and pubs nearby. We walked into downtown Blackpool despite 3 inches of snow!

We were looking for a relaxing night away in Blackpool with our 5 year old son and Lynmoore Guest House was an absolute gem of a find. Everything was instantly hassle free and stress free from the genuinely warm welcome by the owner such a nice and attentive guy without being intrusive or fussy to the immaculate cleanliness of the room to the inviting comfortableness of the bed. The shower was in perfect working order wahoo - none of those weak dribbling ones! and the breakfast in the morning was generous, cooked to a very high standard, and thoroughly enjoyable. This is a splendid place to stay in the heart of Blackpool and the hospitality is second to none.

We had a very comfortable stay at Lynmoore Guest House. The rooms were spotless and the beds nice and comfy. Mark and Lyn made us feel very welcome. Breakfast was lovely and served in a bright airy dining room. The only down side was that the shower in one of the 4 rooms we had didnt heat up. But overall our stay was very enjoyable and only a stones throw from the pleasure beach. I would hioghly recommend a stay here. Its the best place we have stayed in Blackpool.
