We have a drying room and outside taps for boots and fish, and more level private parking for bikes. We can also help arrange walking and sightseeing tours, and organize fishing and golfing breaks for you.

Built in 1868, Blenheim Lodge is reminiscent of gracious residences of yesteryear, with individually appointed bedrooms, many furnished with walnut, pine or French painted antique furniture. Quietly situated in an elevated position at the end of a cul de sac, the shops, restaurants, pubs, Lake Windermere and private country leisure club where we offer free membership are just 5 minutes walk away. The Langdale is a very large double room featuring an antique William IV four poster bed with panoramic views of Lake Windermere and the mountains beyond from huge triple floor to ceiling windows. Decorated in Laura Ashley colours and soft furnishings, the Fairfield is another very large room with a wonderful Louis XV suite and king-sized bed. An antique daybed set in the large triple bay windows offers an irresistible resting place to enjoy the stunning lake and mountain views.
The Dalesway is a romantic French boudoir decorated in Laura Ashley colours and soft furnishings, and overlooks the National Park from bay windows the peacefulness and beautiful countryside contributing to that ‘away from it all feeling. The antique furniture in this room includes a fabulous Louis XV double bed with roccoco details.
If you are visiting with friends or family, or simply wish to enjoy the welcoming warmth of our fireplace, we have a comfortable lounge where you can also enjoy spectacular lake and mountain views from huge triple bay windows.
For breakfast, we use quality local produce, including handmade sausages and bacon. Milk and eggs are delivered fresh from the local dairy each morning and we also offer a choice of homebaked, fresh from the oven croissants served with equally delectable muffins. Vegetarian breakfast options are also available.
Walkers will find us convenient for the Dales Way, which practically ends in our backyard. We have outside taps for boots and fish!, and a drying room for wet or damp gear. We offer free WADAA fishing permits first come first served and are golfer friendly. We have private parking for cyclists and bikers and can organise walks and sightseeing tours that pick up from our house.
