St Cuthberts House is a truly unique place to stay, in the heart of the beautiful and historic Northumberland Coast Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It is a former Presbyterian church building, built in 1810, in the quiet hamlet of North Sunderland adjacent to the popular village of Seahouses, on the Northumberland coast.
Weve renovated this historic former church, to create a luxurious and beautifully designed house for up to twelve people. Its a Grade II listed building, with its charm and history preserved - but the renovation has enabled us to incorporate some luxurious touches into the six ensuite bedrooms, and the beautiful, functional living spaces. The house is so much more than simply a place to stay - its a place to inspire and stir you, and to provide a memorable experience of hospitality.
