My sister and I were visiting Northumberland for the first time and chose this b and b for its excellent location. We were warmly welcomed by Kevin and shown to our very clean bedroom and bathroom. Breakfast cooked by his wife Linda was delicious and plenty of it. They struck the right balance between friendliness and privacy. We would definitely return.

We stayed here in July this year for 3 nights and found it most comfortable and welcoming. The breakfasts were very good especially the continental which made a nice change for my wife although the full english breakfast was perfect especially for me as I have a huge appetite.

Informative, friendly and down to earth host. Room comfortable and excellent value. Good breakfast and only 10 minute walk to facilities of the town. Would reccommend.

I had the good fortune of staying at this well ran and friendly establishment on the eve of my wedding day. Even though I have lived just around the corner from this B&B for some 3+ years I had not had the opportunity to meet the owners. My parents have stayed at this property before and it was warmly recomended to me.
I have read the other comments on here and I am sorry to hear of somebodys misfortune of eating at the local pub The Shepherds Rest. If they had asked the proprietor of this B&B I know he would have recommended people to steer clear of this pub due to its Landlord being obnoxious.
In reference to the bed and breakfast all I can say is that it was A1, clean and tidy. Lovely nights sleep and the breakfast was well received by all who were there that evening.
The owners themselves are chatty, friendly people who will kindly give recommendations on places to visit, eat, etc. When people come to visit if we are unable to spare a room we recommend this B&B.

This is by far the best b&b myself and partner have stayed in, in the UK. Kevin and his wife could not have been friendlier and their hospitality was first rate.
Our room was pristine,beautifully decorated and had a gorgeous view of the manicured garden and local countryside.
Breakfast was delicious and generous.
We were visiting the village for a wedding and staying at Reighamsyde completed a wonderful weekend.

6 of us, 3 couples, stayed here as part of my 54th birthday celebrations. The property is ideally placed and very well appointed. The opinion of everyone in our party was that the rooms were both clean and very comfortable . In addition the host and hostess were most welcoming and very entertaining - particulary at breakfast times. All 3 couples agree that they would return here on any future visits to Alnwick.
