About Glastonbury

The Glastonbury Experience is far more than the 4 days of our famous music festival. An inspiring town and area to visit, both for its wonderful history, stunning countryside and its uniqueness for myth, magic and legend.

We have, just within Glastonbury, the famous Glastonbury Abbey and The Tor and a much improved Chalice Well and Gardens. The Rural Life Museum and Glastonbury Tribunal and Lake Village Museum are well worth a visit.

Within a 10 minute car journey, visitors can enjoy the Cathedral City of Wells with its fantastic markets held on a Wednesday and Saturday, and to the one side of Glastonbury, you can enjoy or not!!! the retail outlet centre of Clarks Village, a very well designed and furbished shopping area.
