About the Area
We are at the Gateway to the Beautiful Lake District, with wonderful scenery and plenty to do, fabulous walking country, Yorkshire Dales also only a short drive away with the lovely market towns of Clapham, Settle and Skipton and Lancaster with the history, Castle, Priory, Museums..... all easily accessible from Capernwray House.
Ideal stopover point North/South ... only 3 miles from Junction 35 of M6 and yet seems like miles away as Capernwray House is set in rolling countryside on the edge of the Lune Valley.
Access to Lancaster Canal is 10 minutes walk away and the walks down the canal are beautiful.
Great Birdwatching location ... only 10 mins by car to Leighton Moss nature Reserve, Morecambe Bay about 15 minute drive away, Silverdale and Arnside also close by.
We have 18 years experience of B&B and over the years have learned what guests like, cleanliness and friendliness being paramount.... these two factors you will find in abundence at Caperrnwray House along with much more.
