Built in 1604 this former farm house retains many of its original features. Accommodation comprises of 9 chalet style lets 4 overlooking the farm pond in what was the dairy house and 5 in the farms original stables.

I would not recommend this place to anyone, as they ruined the wake for my Father-In Law, we booked this place as we loved the lay out and features of the Venue, we were going to book the Black Swan but decided this one was more personal and private.
It actually turned out quite the opposite, as they double booked and gave a smaller party priority of the smaller room leaving us with an open planned room which we pretty much shared with the general public.
I was not at all satisfied with the way the staff treated us, the only thing i will say, the Wake did go well as luckily the weather held out for us and we could sit on the benches out the front.
Buffet food was certainly not worth the price they charge them at e.g. 2 packs of Smokey Bacon crisps still in the actually packs in a bowl, cold scones and awful blackcurrant squash. All in all it was awful!

We stay at Elm Farm several times a year and really love it. Its different from anywhere else weve stayed, with its friendly staff, the peaceful garden with its pond, birds and animals, and has a great community atmosphere. Whenever we leave we feel as though we are leaving home and cant wait to go back.
