About the Area
South Shields is a lovely traditional seaside town with a glorious coast line, beautiful beaches, superb parks with free well known entertainment in the summer, many pubs along the beaches and also in the town centre as well as many clubs and restaurants. The town is also well situated and in easy reach of Beamish museum, Holy Island, Durham City, Alnwick and Bamburgh castles etc and a very short metro ride into Newcastle City centre.
