What a wonderful welcome! We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this luxurious bed and breakfast. The room was beatifully decorated and comfortable. The shower was piping hot and powerful. The breakfast was delicious and I had plenty to choose from as a vegetarian.
About the Area
Halwill Juction Devon - central area for visiting North Devon, mid Devon and Cornwall. Close to the A30 for travel to the Cathedral city of Exeter and for travelling into Cornwall. Many Trust properties to visit nearby. Rural location with beautul scenery. Close to Roadford Lake for walking and water sports. Ample opportunity for fishing with a number of fishing lakes in the village and close by. The Dartmoor national park is very close and the North Cornish coast at Bude is about 30 minutes by car. Lovely walks in Cookworthy forest, located in Ruby Country, an area named after the Devon Ruby cattle.
