The Royal Burgh Of Queensferry sits between the two world famous Road and Rail Bridges. A beautiful location which hosts numerous local attractions. A visit to Hopetoun House is a must for its elegance and architecture, or a trip on The Maid of The Forth boat which makes the journey under The Forth Rail Bridge down the River Forth to the historic island of Inchcolme where passengers can elight and explore the 9th century Abbey, then observe the sealife while travelling the 30 minutes back to the Hawes Pier, which is opposite The Hawes Inn where Robert Louis Stevenson penned the novel Treasure Island. For the more energetic, and for those who appreciate magnificent views, a walk over The Forth Road Bridge to North Queensferry is a splendid way to spend a morning, followed by a train trip back to South Queensferry over the Rail Bridge.
