| The Studio is a ground-floor self-contained studio-apartment, normally let on a self-catering basis Ikea mini-kitchen, though breakfast may sometimes be available. At one end of the single-room apartment is the standard-sized double bed and walk-in wardrobe. At the other is the kitchen, dining table, TV and sofa, which converts into a 4ft bed, suitable for a child. The tariff quoted is for two occupants and, if the sofa bed is required, an addition charge is made please see website. About the Area
Windermere and its sister village, Bowness on Windermere, are the principal centres in the southern part of the Lake District National Park. They are less than 25 minutes drive from M6 J36 and make an ideal centre for exploring the whole of this most beautiful corner of England. Bowness is principally an attractive tourist village situated on the shores of Windermere lake, Englands largest natural lake, whereas Windermere, just 1.5Km north-east, provides a useful range of shops, banks, restaurants, hotels and guest-houses. Windermere village is a bus and coach hub and the station provides a service to the London-Glasgow rail-line and a direct service to Manchester Airport.
