This charming Georgian house, set within picturesque gardens, is found in the village of Crossgates, just north of Llandrindod Wells.
The bright and spacious bedrooms and suite are all individually furnished, and include a ground floor room. All rooms have comfy beds, huge fluffy bath towels, soft bath robes and quality toiletries. Cordon Bleu trained chef Anne prepares interesting modern and traditional dishes that draw from fresh, local ingredients. To accompany your meal the wine list has some new and interesting additions this year. Dining room open Wednesday to Saturday, dinner reservations must be made in advance.

Set, as it is, in the very heart of Wales, Guidfa House is an excellent base for touring the wonderful local countryside, which includes the Elan Valley, the Radnor and Hafron Forests, the Brecon Beacons and the Welsh Borderlands.
Walkers and birdwatchers alike will find plenty to interest them including the local RSPB red kite feeding station. Cycle hire or pony trekking can easily be arranged along with golf or rally driving courses.
For those who prefer a more relaxed visit there are many scenic drives and places of interest including Powis Castle, Hergest Croft Gardens and Hay on Wye with its host of antique bookshops.
