Campogrande bed & breakfast is a former blacksmiths that has been recently renovated and is situated only 2 km from the medieval hill town of Citta della Pieve in Umbria. We are ideally located on the Tuscan Umbrian Border, an hours train journey from both Florence in the north and Rome in the south. Closer still, you can visit the historic towns of Assisi, Castiglione del Lago, Cortona, Montelpulciano, Orvieto, Perugia, and Siena.
At Campogrande Bed & Breakfast all our guest rooms are en suite, have individually hand crafted wrought iron beds, hand made terracotta tiled floors throughout and bespoke chestnut wood framed windows with in built insect screens. We have central heating throughout which incurs a small charge during the winter season.

The Olive Room sleeps 2-Looking out onto the olive grove, this bedroom has direct access to the main terrace where you can have a relaxing breakfast alfresco!
The Oak Room suite sleeps 4-is a family suite comprising of a double bedroom as well as an independent smaller bedroom with bunkbeds ideally suited for children. This family sized room benefits from an original oak beamed ceiling with a private balcony for your own exclusive use!
The Chestnut Room suite sleeps 4-This is also a family suite comprising of a spacious ground level room that opens out onto the olive grove. It has been designed to be disabled friendly with wheelchair access. This suite also has a small living room with a sofabed which can sleep 2. In addition it boasts a substantial bathroom with separate shower and bath.
The Breakfast Room-The breakfast room opens out onto the main terrace where you can enjoy an authentic Italian style continental breakfast that includes home made preserves from our very own fruit trees! as well as our own extra virgin olive oil this can be sampled and purchased.

campogrande n:1, citta della pieve, 06062pg, umbria. From the North: take the A1 in the direction of Rome and exit at Chiusi Chianciano Terme. Follow the signs for Chiusi-Citta della Pieve, travelling on the SR71 road and continue beyond citta della pieve for 2km and when you see the road marker IV/73 on the left, turn right and Campogrande is the first house. From the south: take the A1 in the direction of Florence and exit at Fabro. Follow the signs for Chiusi-Citta della Pieve, travelling on the SR71 road continue beyond Monteleone di Orvieto for 1km and when you see the road marker III/73 on the right, turn left and Campogrande is the first house

The accommodation comprises of 6 Clubhouse rooms, 4 Lodges and 2 Cottages sleeping upto a maximum of 70 guests. All rooms are a good size with en-suite, TV and coffee / tea making facilities. The Restaurant has a menu serving traditional foods sourced from local producers,freshly made and great value for money.
