Cley next the sea is on the N Norfolk coast right in the middle of the nice bit - Cromer and Sheringham 10 miles to your east, Wells and Holkham 10 miles to your West, Holt 4 miles inland and Brrnham Market 12 miles inland to the West.
Very pretty village with a swimming beach, starting point to walk along the spit to BlakeneyPoint to see the seals. Cley has the windmill, a famous delhi, Cley Pottery, the famous smoke house fish shop, Pink foot art Gallery and a wonderful vintage and rare bookshop called the crabPot, two cafes and two pubs as well as the famous bird reserve for those that like to twitch!
Lovely coastal bank walks to Blakeney for the Quay, crabbing, ice creams, and a walk further along the bank to Morston to take a boat trip out to the seals.
A very pretty and unspoilt part of the world, great placve to stay to access shopping in Holt and Burnham and the wonderful bucket and spade world of Sheringham, cromer and wells... plus big sandy sand dunes at Holkham where one can visit Holkham hall and the Victoria pub as well as have a pancake and a pint on the famous Albatross brigg ship moored in Wells harbour.
Ideal area for birding, walking, swimming, sailing, the seals, relaxed eating and drinking, visits to the National Trust houses at Blickling and Felbrigg.
