Redlands is situated 1 mile from Langtree at Wonders Corner, surrounded by the wonderful countryside of North Devon, with a breathtaking view towards Exmoor, with a similar option towards Dartmoor.
There is ample car parking and use of the garden.
We are close to the civil war town of Great Torrington, featuring the 1646 Civil War Centre opened in 1999,Dartington Crystal and the Royal Horticultural Gardens at Rosemoor,
The town also affords access to the 180-mile long Tarka Trail which was the inspiration for the book ‘Tarka the Otter’, ideal for walkers or cyclists,with cycle hire available.
The rugged coastline from Bude to Lynton & Lynmouth linked by the North Devon Coastal Path is a favorite destination for walkers of all abilities.
The beautiful sandy award winning blue flag beaches of Bude, Westward-Ho!, Saunton Sands, Croyde Bay and Woolacombe are a delight for families and surfers alike, all within easy travelling distance.
Horse riding, fishing, sailing, golf or adventure activities for all tastes are plentiful throughout the region.
If your interest is bird watching day trips to Lundy Island from either Bideford or Ilfracombe are available.
