About Seahouses


Ugiebrae forms the ideal centre for a visit to Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. Close to the Northumberland National Park and the romantic Cheviot Hills, there are numerous English Heritage and National Trust properties to explore, including the nearby Farne Islands with their nationally important bird and seal colonies. Alnwick Castle with its Harry Potter connections is a few minutes drive away, along with the internationally famous Alnwick Garden. Bamburgh is just up the coast, and a little further north is the Holy Island of Lindisfarne. For the more active, golf, fishing, riding and pony-trekking are all avaialble locally, and the walker and rambler are spoilt for choice!
