About the Area


Due to its location in the Heart of England, sitting on the River Severn, Worcester is a lovely location for a short break or as part of a touring holiday.

Alternatively, make an overnight stop, whether traveling north or south on the M5 motorway or traveling east or west across England, to or from Wales.

Whatever your interests, Worcestershire can provide it heritage, rambling including Severn Way, Wychavon Way, Malvern Hills, local activities available including fishing, horse-riding, windsurfing, kite flying, take a boat trip down the River Severn, tour by car or simply just to relax in the beautiful countryside.

You can see a play at the Swan Theatre, attend a concert at Huntingdon Hall, see a movie at either the Odeon or Vue Cinema, or go to one of the many country inns, pubs and nightclubs. 

There are also many craft centres and galleries or place a bet at Worcester Racecourse. Worcester Cricket or see Worcester Warriors at Sixways Rugby club.

Visit Worcester Cathedral, the Royal Worcester Porcelain Factory Visitor’s Centre or learn about Worcester’s history in one of the local museums.
