The area abounds with natural beauty. The RSPB reserve at Leighton Moss is close by, as is Arnside Knott - a haven for butterflies.
The village of Arnside enjoys a picturesque Promenade of shops. It also offers two great public houses The Albion and Ye Olde Fighting Cocks with terrific views across the estuary towards the Lakes and over to Grange-Over-Sands. Both offer freshly prepared food daily with extensive menus to delight all tastes.
