Built in the 1600s, this former inn and farmhouse is set in an idyllic location in a small hamlet at the foot of the South Downs. It has three high spec en-suite rooms with all the facilitities of the 21st century. Close to the South Downs Way, yet within just a few minutes drive of Glyndebourne, Lewes, Eastbourne and Brighton. All the surrounding villages have cosy pubs and restuarants. It is indeed a quiet spot for a romantic break or a restful stay.

Easily one of the best B&Bs in the South. Great location, ideal for walks in the Downs, or visiting Arts and Crafts and Bloomsbury houses. The local pub Rose Inn serves lovely food,and the sea is never far away. Rooms are beautiful and spotlessly clean, and Eileen and John are very friendly, helpful and welcoming hosts.
