A nice little B & B in quiet relaxed friendly Victorian terrace house.
Stay in a lovely room, with central heating, 10 minutes walk from the centre of Norwich, 1 minute from the bus stop, close to the Cathedral, 5 minutes drive from the UEA and city centre shops, 35 minutes from the glorious North Norfolk Coast.
A lovely double room next to a large shared immaculate bathroom with deep bath and power shower. I only cater for 2 guests maximum in one double room so you will never need to worry about sharing the bathroom and sitting room with anyone else. The space is yours to come and go as you like.
There is no TV in the room, to ensure peace and quiet, but there are books, dvds and free fast broad band. You are welcome to use my sitting room if you want to watch TV or TIVO. There is a lovely walled garden & small separate sitting room/dining area should you want to bring back your own food or have an evening meal cooked by myself, most tastes catered for £10 per person 2 courses. Wine or beer are also available should you want a glass at the end of the day to relax over!
Vegetarian foods a speciality and meat dishes cooked too. Packed lunches and picnics available. Collection to and from the station should you need transport, on street permit parking outside the house.
I started this B&B to cater for people who want a high quality low key stay where you can kick your shoes off in the hall and not have to lock your door or be quiet when treading the landing!Having been in business and staying in lots of places I wanted something that was easily accessed, safe, quiet, easy parking and close to the area I was going too, its that simple!
You are very welcome whether you are coming on business, attending a wedding, funeral {Catholic Cathedral/Earlham crematorium/Registry office are 5 minutes away or other event come to that... or are simply needing a room for any number of nights for a city break or just passing through. There are two wonderful local pubs not less than 2 minutes walk which provide excellent beers and home cooked meals and a great lively tapas restaurant as well. We are also close to the wonderful Plantation Gardens and the Sainsbury Centre at the UEA
You can let me know what time suits you for checking in after 3pm but check out is by 10.30am unless by prior arrangement.
It is important to know there is a happy natured collie and a very old cat who live here, so the house isnt suitable if you have allergies. There are no children living at the house.
Not your average B&B but I can guarantee you a lovely relaxed stay with refreshments in your room and afternoon tea on arrival.
This area is known as the Golden Triangle for a very good reason.
