Set in its own grounds, on the edge of Castle Eden Nature Reserve is The Little Sanctuary a newly opened Bed and Breakfast.
The gardens are beautiful and home to many rabbits,squirrels,pheasants and birds.

Castle Eden Golf Club is five minutes away by car and Durham approx. fifteen minutes away.
Shotton Hall the wedding venue for many is a short walk away,at the top of the road.
Further afield one can join the A19 and go north to Newcastle or south to the Dales for an away day.
