Honeysuckle cottage is a lovely place to unwind after a days walking, cycling, visiting friends or enjoying the beautiful county of Hampshire.
The accommodation is on the top floor of a family house, consisting of a large double bedroom & bathroom.
We can provide an additional single bed & travel cot as well as high chairs and other baby equipment.
For breakfast our guests are offered a choice of cereals, fresh fruit and yogurt, toast with marmalade & jam, & fresh coffee from our coffee machine or tea. We offer an English breakfast & vegetarian breakfast.
Cycle storage and off street parking.
The village was recently voted best village to live in the U.K by The Times. There is a fantastic local pub, The Thomas Lord, which has a great seasonal menu & has recently been awarded with two AA rosettes. The village has a local store, internet cafe & a local butchers. We are only 1.5 miles from the South Downs Way & 0.5 mile from the Meon Valley Trail which is a 17.5 km footpath and cyclepath from Eastleigh to Fareham. The annual West Meon Festival of books takes place in the village this year from 11th-14th July 13.
There is a bus stop outside the house taking you to Winchester, Alton, Alresford, Petersfield. The nearest train station is Petersfield.
We can provide a babysitting service. We are both CRB checked.
