Yew Tree Lodge is a wonderfully private rural hideaway in a historic Hampshire village. Recently renovated to excellent standards, Yew Tree Lodge is a self-contained, romantic cabin in the peaceful gardens of this Edwardian house with idyllic views stretching over the Meon Valley.
The lodge boasts its own entrance, off-street parking, cycle storage, Wifi and private decked veranda where evening drinks and lazy breakfasts can be enjoyed. The accommodation consists of a very spacious double bedroom with en suite bathroom and french windows leading to a decked veranda. A travel cot can also be provided.
Eating will be a highlight here. As well as a choice of continental breakfast with home made muffins taken on your private patio or full English breakfast with eggs from our own hens, we provide a tea tray with home cooked biscuits. We can also reserve you a table at the award winning Bakers Arms pub which is literally a stones throw away and serves excellent food and local beers.
Aside from its outstanding beauty, this area is a haven for fishers, cyclists and walkers being located close to the South Downs Way and the historic Alton to Fareham train line which closed in 1958 and now provides multiple biking, walking and riding trails.
