Beautiful Country House Accommodation, set in over and acre of secluded gardens in the heart of the Peak District National Park. Great village pub just 2 minutes walk and dozens of lovely walks and cycle rides right from the door. Originally part of the Chatsworth Estate, this wonderful house has been lovingly and carefully restored to retain all its original charm with all the modern comforts. Ideal location for walking, cycling, visiting the pretty limestone villages of Ashbourne, Bakewell and Buxton as well as the many stately homes in the area including Ilam Hall, Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and many more. In the winter months relax by a roaring fire with a mug of tea or in the summer sit out in our large gardens and enjoy the views. After a relaxing nights sleep in one of our beautifully appointed rooms, wake up to the aroma of Nickys freshly baked breads and enjoy a hearty farmhouse breakfast served with fresh fruits, yoghurts and all the trimmings. For the less fainthearted we are also just a short drive to Alton Towers.
