The Hare and Hounds is a 16th Century Country Pub set in three acres of grassland and situated in the small Sussex hamlet of Rye Foreign, two miles north of Rye on the A268.

The Pub is conveniently located in 1066 country with easy access to the historic towns of Rye, Battle, Tenterden and Winchelsea. The seaside town of Hastings is a short distance away.

The large traditional Inglenook fire is used throughout the winter months and provides the warmth and atmosphere of a country pub.



Rooms

The accommodation is located adjacent to the pub and consists of three double rooms and a twin room with disabled facilities. All rooms are en-suite with bath and shower, independent heating, Freeview Television/Radio/DVD, hair dryer and tea & coffee making facilities.The twin room and one of the double rooms can be used as a family room. Ample off road car parking is available.
