Welcome to The South Wing, a beautiful self contained annexe providing 2 floors of comfortable accommodation, with all the modern amenities you would expect.
Nestled in the small hamlet of Cavers in the Scottish Borders about 4 miles from Hawick, and surrounded by one and a half acres of beautiful gardens, we offer a peaceful and secluded bed and breakfast accommodation for £65 per night sleeping 2 people.
Ideally located for all tourism in the region, and with Edinburgh, Carlisle and Newcastle all less than 90 minutes away, The South Wing is ideally placed to meet the needs of both holiday and business traveller alike.
Following renovation and a conversion, the South Wing was completed in 2012. Named after its southerly aspect and providing expansive views over the gardens, we are sure your stay will be relaxing and comfortable.
Please take the time to look at our gallery to get a true insight into the gardens and accommodation with its self contained lounge and dining area with wood burning stove, TV, tea and coffee facilities on the ground floor, plus an en-suite shower room, dressing area a further TV and a comfortable double bed on the first floor.

With sleeping for 2 people at £65 per night, the B&B comprises self contained centrally heated accommodation over two floors, with guest access to and use of the beautiful gardens and by prior arrangement our Summer House see pictures in the Gallery. A Single person rate of £55 for bed and breakfast applies.
The ground floor of the B&B has comfortable seating and eating area with a wood burning stove, flat screen plasma TV, DVD player, views onto the garden plus tea and coffee making facilities. The first floor has an en suite shower room and WC, a comfortable double bed, dressing area, wardrobe, and radio alarm. Accommodation is available from 3:30 on the day of arrival and we ask guests to kindly vacate the premises by 10:30 on the day of departure.
The Southerly aspect of The South Wing overlooks the gardens, and the patio area is available to guests to relax on these sunny days and warm nights and we also have a patio heater if you need it, but please let us know in advance
The gardens are all our own work and have been established over the last 10 years with walks, seating areas, a wildlife pond and water features. We can make our Summer House with power, heating and digital radio/CD available for your use by prior arrangement if you are staying more that one night, so you have somewhere to relax in the garden on an evening.
We also grow fruit and veg in the garden, orchard and poly tunnel so seasonal fruits should be available to have with your breakfast, depending on the season and how well this years crop does.
