Cosy Twin room and Double Room, each with Private Bathroom across the hallway. 15 mins walk to the famous Eilean Donan Castle, and 15 min drive to the Skye Bridge, where you can explore the Island of Skye, visiting The Old Man of Storr, The Quirang, The Fairy Pools, Dunvagan Castle, The Fairy Glen, Coral Beach, Tallisker Bay and the Distillery, to name a few. Also close to beautiful Plockton with its palm trees, and Glenelg where the author Gavin Maxwell lived with his otters and wrote the book The Ring of Bright Water. At Glenelg there are also ancient Pictish Brochs to visit, one of which is the best preserved in the UK, and the last ever existing turntable small ferry, on which it is possible to sail over the sea to Skye!

Also access to The Five Sisters of Kintail for hillwalkers.

A great base to explore, even as far as Applecross for the day and brave the famous road where eagles can fly below you!! Overlooked by The Five Sisters of Kintail, a great base for hillwalkers, as well as the Cuillins on Skye. A lot of beautiful low level walks, so something to suit all abilities. The rooms have amazing views over Loch Alsh and Loch Duich and there is a lovely shoreline walk 5 mins from the house where you might see otters playing at dusk. Beautiful dark skies in winter time, and amazing sunsets and sunrises in summer - a must for photographers.

Access to Breakfast Room in the evenings to bring back takeaway food. This room also contains a kettle, toaster, small fridge and small microwave and you are welcome to use these to heat up food, prepare your own meal. Crockery, cutlery, microwave pots all available. Self Serve Continental Breakfast items consisting of cereals, yoghurts, orange juice, milk, tea, coffee, bread for toast, croissants if available, selection of jams and honey and fresh fruit and breakfast bars. Perfect for early risers and lazy mornings. Please be aware this room is shared space.

TV/DVD player in Breakfast room and bedroom, Super fast free WiFi, Free onsite parking, DVD,s, Maps, Books provided. We can help with planning your trip at any time. Also we can store bikes in the garage, and help with drying areas. Towels, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel all provided. Hand sanitizer at the front door which is your own entrance. Rooms are all deep cleaned, disinfected and sanitized after each party departs.

Hillwalkers, cyclists, photographers, bikers all welcome, as well as anyone exploring this area. Not far from the NC500 route, so could be added as an extension to your trip. We look forward to welcoming you to this wonder area.
