Port is 1.6 miles from Hamilton House and takes approx. 5 minutes by car
For mid-day or evening meals, there are a wide variety of Restaurants, Cafes and Pubs in the City, some just 5 minutes walk from the house, some serve English food and there are also many Foreign Restaurants who cater for all tastes.
We are an excellent touring base for Southern England, being on the main routes for places such as London, Winchester, Southampton, Stonehenge, New Forest, Brighton and Chichester etc. Trains to London are an easy option for a day visit, 2 fast trains each hour take just 90 mins.
Should you choose to stay for a day or a week we will ensure a warm welcome and a pleasant stay at Hamilton House.

We have no single rooms at all but if available can offer a twin or double room for single occupancy at slightly reduced price
Children are welcome at reduced rates sharing in either type of room with 2 Adults
Large Family Rooms are available for families of 3, 4, 5 and 6. Family Units available for 4 and 5 people
