The Lord Nelson is a privately run hotel offering excellent accommodation at reasonable prices. A Grade II listed building with a wealth of national charm, it affords a pleasant atmosphere in informal surroundings. We are central to Shropshires tourist attractions and close to the historic town of Ironbridge, which hosts the Blists Hill working museum from the industrial revolution. The hotel is close to the centre of Wellington, a traditional market town, yet within easy reach of the modern shopping centre of Telford, with its large variety of shops and big name superstores. Wellington train station is on the doorstep linking up with Shrewsbury and the Welsh Coast in one direction and Manchester and London Euston in the other.

Whether it is a single, double or family room, all our bedrooms have private en-suite shower rooms and are fully equipped with colour television, radio, tea and coffee making facilities and trouser press. Laundry services are available and irons/ironing boards and hair driers may be obtained upon request.
